Installed this on my 18-Series Short Course after the original snapped, and it fit perfectly with no extra adjustment needed. The metal feels sturdier than the stock plastic piece, so I'm hoping it'll hold up better on rough terrain.
The steering rod is a direct replacement and the plastic feels sturdy enough for my son's bashing sessions. Installed in under two minutes with just a screwdriver.
Fits perfectly on my 18-Series Short Course Truck and feels just as sturdy as the original. The metal rod is a nice upgrade over the plastic one that came with it.
